Export of Goods in EU Countries from 2004 to 2009

Abstract:

Evropská unie je významným subjektem mezinárodního obchodu se zbožím. V současnosti je největším exportérem a importérem zboží světa. Export zboží je významným faktorem ekonomického růstu zemí EU. Období let 2004 až 2007 bylo pro země EU15 obdobím konjunktury. V tomto období docházelo k růstu intra-exportu i extra-export EU15. Intra-export se na celkovém exportu EU15 podílel 60 %. V letech 2008 až 2009 postihla země EU15 hospodářská krize, která kromě jejich ostatních makroekonomických veličin ovlivnila také jejich export. Země EU12 zaznamenávaly v období let 2004 až 2008 významný růst exportu zboží a s ním spojený ekonomický růst. Hlavním exportním partnerem EU12 byly země EU15, kam směřovalo 60 % exportu zemí EU12.V roce 2009 se už i v zemích EU12 projevila ekonomická krize, která měla negativní dopad i na jejich export. S příchodem hospodářské krize se naplno projevily problémy exportu zboží zemí EU. Hlavními problémy exportu zemí EU v současném období jsou zmenšující se produkční kapacity a nedostatečné inovace a s tím spojená ztráta konkurenceschopnosti, ale také samotná komoditní a teritoriální struktura exportu zboží.

Abstract:

European union is an important subject of the international trade in goods. Currently EU is the world biggest exporter and importer of goods in the world. Export of goods is a significant factor of economic growth in EU. From 2004 to 2007 there was a period of boom in economy of EU15 countries. At this time intra-export and extra-export growth was recorded. In 2008 and 2009 EU15 countries were affected by economic crisis, which had impact on main macroeconomic indicators and on export of goods as well. From 2004 to 2008 there was a period of boom in economy of EU12 countries. The major export partners of EU12 countries were EU15 countries, which accounted for 60% of exports of goods EU12 countries. In 2009 EU12 countries were affected by economic crisis, which had impact on main macroeconomic indicators and also on export. In time of recession the problems of the export of goods in EU countries have been fully reflected. The main problems are shrinking production capacity, unsufficient innovation and the loss of competetiveness, territorial and commodity structure of export of goods EU countries.
