The Possibilities of Increasing Pedestrian Safety on Roads inthe Non-lit Parts of Municipalities

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou zvýšení bezpečnosti chodců na komunikacích v neosvětlených částech obcí. V teoretické části je nejdříve rozebráno město a obec, teoretický model struktury města, typické městské části spolu s rozdělením komunikací a také neosvětlené části měst. Dále jsou zde popsána pravidla silničního provozu, statistika nehodovosti ve městě, pasivní bezpečnost a možnosti bezpečnostních prvků pro chodce. V praktické části je nejdříve provedena analýza neosvětlené části spolu s odbornými rozhovor. Dále jsou navrhnuty tři varianty zlepšení, které jsou posouzeny a následně je jedna vybrána jako vhodná, jež je podrobněji popsána.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of increasing pedestrian safety on roads in unlit parts of municipalities. In the theoretical part is first analyzed the city and the village, the theoretical model of the city structure, typical city districts along with the distribution of roads and also unlit parts of towns. Furthermore, road traffic rules, city accident statistics, passive safety and pedestrian safety features are described. In the practical part, the analysis of the unlit part together with the expert interviews is performed first. Furthermore, three variants of improvement are proposed which are assessed and subsequently selected as suitable, which is described in more detail.
