Anotace:

This diploma thesis is dedicated to understand what are the critical positive factors that need to be analysed and utilized in a business plan? The main goal is their identification and measurement. I will intend to prove that a formal or elaborate business plan is an unavoidable prerequisite for a business entity to come into existence, prosper, and meet its desired ends. This is my hypothesis, which I believe will be crucial in reaching the objective. In the theoretical part, I had found which success factors are most relevant in planning business. I conducted a semi-quantitative-qualitative analysis of success rates in the business world in North America and Europe (mostly) and checked which success factors were responsible for such success. In the practical part, I took 3 companies and looked for these success factors in them to see how they influenced their success. Also, I created a hypothetical business plan employing these success factors to validate or rebut my hypothesis.
