The Philosophy of Poetry in Wagner's Lohengrin

Abstract:

Práce rozvrhuje nové perspektivy pro interpretaci poetologické a filosofické základny tvorby německého hudebního skladatele a básníka Richarda Wagnera, chápajíc tuto jako významný stupeň ve vývoji dialektického myšlení mezi Hegelovou a Heideggerovou fenomenologií. Klade důraz na Wagnerova východiska v německé idealistické filosofii a romantice a na jeho reformu statutu umění vůbec na sociálně-konstruktivní reflexi povyšující díky bezpojmové idealitě hudby estetické nazírání na vrcholnou formu subjekt-objektového vztahování. Takto práce vykládá Wagnerovu teorii umění především z logiky Hegelovy a zdůrazňuje její afinitu k Feuerbachovu antropologismu; naopak koriguje stereotypizované představy jednostranně vykládající Wagnera ze Schopenhauera a jeho estetiku hudebního dramatu z dezinterpretativních výkladů Hanslickových. Zdůrazňuje eschatologismus Wagnerovy koncepce estetického uchopování a jeho imanentní kritickou dimenzi občanskou, dokumentujíc dialektický afirmativismus Wagnerovy ontologie, v jejímž rámci je umění angažovaným, významotvorným aktérem dějinnosti mezi jsoucím a podstatovým.

Abstract:

This work proposes a new perspectives in interpretations of the poetological and philosophical bases of the work of the German composer and poet Richard Wagner, understanding this as an important step in the development of dialectical thinking between Hegel and Heidegger's phenomenology. It emphasizes Wagner´s roots in the German idealistic philosophy and romance. It also denotes to his general reform of art status as a socially constructive reflection which advances aesthetic perception of the highest form of subject and object relation through its non conceptual ideal of music. Thus this work interprets Wagner´s theory of art mainly through Hegel´s logic and it emphasizes its affinity to Feuerbach´s anthropologism. On the contrary, it revises stereotypical notions unambiguously interpreting Wagner through Schopenhauer and his aesthetics of musical drama through Hanclick´s disinterpretive concepts. It accentuates eschatology in Wagner´s concept of aesthetical notion and his immanent civil and critical dimension documenting dialectical affirmationism of Wagner´s ontology. In its framework, the art is defined as most important creative participant of historicity between Existence and Essence.
