Abstract:

Předkládaná práce se věnuje tématu řešení „cikánské otázky“, tedy snaze o asimilaci či integraci „cikánů“ či „občanů cikánského původu“, v období od konce druhé světové války do počátku 70. let na Hodonínsku. Cílem práce je představení vývoje přístupu správních a bezpečnostních složek k „cikánům“ ve vymezeném regionu. Jednotlivé přístupy byly na jedné straně ovlivňovány centrální politikou řešení „cikánské otázky“, na straně druhé byla situace na okrese Hodonín ovlivňována specifickou a bohatou historií zdejších „cikánů“, vysokou mírou integrace „cikánských“ autochtonů, specifickou imigrací „cikánů“ ze západního Slovenska, názory a zkušenostmi místních funkcionářů i veřejnosti a řadou dalších faktorů.

Abstract:

The presented thesis describes solution of „gypsy question“, that is the pursuit of assimilation or integration of "Gypsies" or "citizens of gypsy origin" in the period since the end of World War II until the early 70s in Hodonín region. The aim of the thesis is to show the development of approaches of administrative and security forces to "Gypsies" in the defined region. Individual approaches have been influenced on the one hand by the central policy of "gypsy question" solution, on the other hand was situation in Hodonín district influenced by specific and rich history of the local "Gypsies", a high degree of integration of "gypsy" autochthons, sunique immigration of "Gypsies" from western Slovakia, opinions and experiences of local officials and the public and a number of other factors.
