Noble Sons Upbringing in the Late Middle Ages
Abstract:
Práce se věnuje aspektům definujícím výchovu šlechtických synů v českých zemích se zaměřením na jagellonské období. Komparuje prameny, které byly ve sledované éře sepsány právě pro účel výchovy, a výsledek komparace zasazuje do dobového kontextu. Nastíněný obraz slouží pro dokreslení jagellonského období jako éry specifického přerodu mezi středověkem a renesancí.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on various aspects defining the upbringing of noble sons in Czech lands with focus on Jagiellonian period. It compares primary sources, which were written in the monitored era specifically for the purpose of upbringing, and sets the result of the comparison into the contemporary context.
