Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá popisem konceptu svobodných firem, který se v současnosti stává čím dál populárnější a jeho propojením s všeobecně uznávanými teoriemi motivace. Práce poukazuje na základní prvky konceptu svobody v práci a zároveň vysvětluje jejich úspěšnost na základě srovnání s teoriemi motivace. Hlavními teoriemi motivace, se kterými jsou parametry svobody v práci porovnávány jsou: Maslowova teorie potřeb, Vroomova teorie valence a očekávání a McClellandova teorie získaných potřeb. Praktická část je tvořena výsledky dotazníkového šetření a strukturovaných rozhovorů ve dvou tuzemských firmách. Byly voleny firmy různého rozsahu, aby byla vypovídací hodnota šetření vyšší. Tím bylo umožněno také použití širšího spektra metod. Výsledkem práce je zjištění, že koncept svobody v práci je úspěšný, protože s popsanými teoriemi motivace pracuje mnohem lépe a efektivněji než standardní formy řízení.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the concept of democratic company, which is becoming more popular nowadays and it’s relation with generally accepted theories of motivation. The work refers to the basic elements of the concept of freedom at work and explains their success based on a comparison with theories of motivation. The main theories of motivation with which the parameters of freedom at work are compared to are: Maslow's theory of needs, Vroom's expectancy theory and McClelland's achievement motivation theory. Practical part consists of the results of questionnaires and structured interviews in two domestic companies. Companies of different sizes have been selected, to assure higher value of the results. This also allowed me to use wider specter of the methods. The main finding of the thesis is that the concept of freedom at work is successful because it uses described theories of motivation works much better and more efficiently than standard forms of control.
