The history of nursing education in Pardubice

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá historií ošetřovatelského vzdělávání se zaměřením na Pardubice. V teoretické části je shrnuta problematika ženského vzdělávání obecně, které začíná od středověku, ale je charakteristické převážně pro období 18. 20. století. Dále je zde popsán rozvoj ošetřovatelského vzdělávání od středověku až do dnešní doby. V praktické části je popsána historie ošetřovatelského vzdělávání v Pardubicích od 60. let 19. století do školního roku 2012/13. Hlavní část práce je zaměřena na počátky vzdělávání žen a na období 50. let 20. století. Zjištěná historická data jsou porovnávána se současnou situací na Střední zdravotnické škole Pardubice a Fakultě zdravotnických studií Univerzity Pardubice. Výzkum byl prováděn metodou kvalitativní studie dokumentů.

Abstract:

The work deals with the history of nursing education focusing on Pardubice. In the theoretical part is summed up the issue of female education in general, which starts from the middle ages, but it is characteristic mainly for the period 18th 20th century. It also describes the development of nursing education from the middle ages up to the present day. In the practical part the history of nursing education is described in Pardubice from 1860 to the academic year 2012/13. The main part of the work is focused on the origins of the education of women, and for a period of 50. years of the 20th century. Recorded historical data is compared with the current situation in the central medical school and Faculty of health studies, University of Pardubice. The research was carried out using the method of qualitative study documents.
