Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce shrnuje současné poznatky o trimethylamin-N-oxidu. Teoretická část se zabývá základními vlastnostmi tohoto oxidu, jeho funkcí v živých organismech a zdroji ve výživě. Další kapitoly pojednávají především o jeho přeměnách v lidském organismu, faktorech ovlivňujících jeho plazmatické koncentrace a nemocech se kterými je spojován. This bachelor thesis summarizes current knowledge about trimethylamine-N-oxide. The theoretical part deals with its basic characteristics, function in living organisms and sources in the nutrition. Following chapters talk mostly about its conversions in human body, factors which influence its plasmatic concentrations and related diseases.
