Iconography of Etruscan Underworld
Abstract:
My thesis is devoted to Etruscan mythology with main focus to believs about death and underworld. This thesis is divided into two main parts. First part deals with informations about etruscan religion, gods, demons and process of burying the dead. Second part is created by katalog of tombs and sarcophagi from etruscan cities.
Abstract:
Vo svojej bakalárskej práci sa venujem skúmaniu Etruskej mytológie, s hlavným zameraním na predstavy o smrti a podsvetí. Práca je rozdelená na dve hlavné časti. Prvú časť tvorí súhrn informácií o etruskom náboženskom živote, opis bohov, démonov a spôsob pochovávania. Druhá časť predstavuje katalóg vybraných hrobiek a sarkofágov z etruských miest.
