Abstract:
This thesis deals with determination of phytoestrogens in feed and in ruminal fluid. Phytoestrogens are secondary metabolites of some plants that, due to their structural similarity to the 17β-estradiol hormone, are capable of binding to estrogen receptors and thus exhibit biological activity in animals. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá stanovením fytoestrogenů v krmivech a v bachorové tekutině přežvýkavců. Fytoestrogeny jsou sekundární metabolity některých rostlin, které jsou díky strukturní podobnosti s hormonem 17β-estradiolem schopné vazby na estrogenové receptory a tím vykazují biologickou aktivitu u živočichů.
