Abstract:

Práce se zabývá dopravou v Indické republice. Jejím hlavním cílem je analýza dopravního systému Indie, popis jednotlivých druhů dopravy, jež se využívají k přepravě osob a vývoj těchto druhů dopravy v posledních letech s prognózou do budoucna. Teoretická část práce se zabývá osobní dopravou a její podobou z hlediska čtyř druhů dopravy – silniční, železniční, lodní a letecké v kontextu jejich historického vývoje a současné podoby. Praktická část práce se zabývá geografickou charakteristikou Indie popisným způsobem, a to s důrazem na význam fyzické geografie země na vývoj její dopravy. Práce následně analyzuje jednotlivé druhy osobní dopravy v Indii z pohledu jejich geografického rozšíření a ekonomicko-sociálního významu. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá organizací osobní dopravy v Indii, a to opět podle jejich jednotlivých druhů, kde analyzuje jejich rozvoj z hlediska investicí do dopravní infrastruktury. Výsledkem této analýzy je konstatování významu silniční dopravy, jež je v Indii využívána nejvíce, přičemž investice do silničního sektoru povedou k jejímu rozšíření do nejméně rozvinutých oblastí Indie.

Abstract:

Diploma thesis deals with transport in the Republic of India. Its main objective is to analyse the transport system of India, describe the different modes of transport used for passenger transport and the development of these modes of transport in the last years with a forecast for the future. The theoretical part deals with passenger transport and its form in terms of four modes of transport - road, rail, ship and air in the context of their historical development and contemporary form. The practical part deals with the geographical characteristics of India in a descriptive way, with an emphasis on the importance of the physical geography of the country on the development of its transport. The thesis then analyses individual types of passenger transport in India in terms of their geographical distribution and economic and social significance. Finally, in diploma thesis is the organization of passenger transport in India, again according to their individual species, where it analyses their development in terms of investment in transport infrastructure. The result of this analysis is to state the importance of road transport, which is most used in India, with investments in the road sector leading to its expansion to the least developed areas of India.
