Diplomová práca sa zaoberá vývojom súčasných trendov retailového bankovníctva, ktoré patrí medzi najdôležitejšie piliere komerčného bankovníctva. Prvá kapitola sa venuje bankovníctvu v trhovej ekonomike. Opisuje bankoví systém, členenie bánk, dohľad nad bankovníctvom a finančným trhom.
