Diplomová práce se zabývá dopady hospodářské recese v důsledku vypuknutí finanční krize na pojistný trh. V úvodu práce jsou identifikovány příčiny finanční krize a její dopad na pojišťovnu AIG. V teoretické části práce jsou stanoveny ukazatele úrovně pojistného trhu a výchozí předpoklady. This thesis deals with the impact of financial crisis caused economic recession on the insurance market. The cause of the crisis and its impact on AIG is described in the opening chapter of this thesis. Insurance market level indicators as well as underlying premise are determined in the next chapter.
