Emission trading is one of the instrument of the environmental policy in the field of greenhouse effect. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to compare 3 large emission trading schemes of USA and Canada – RGGI, ETS of California and ETS of Quebec in financial, environmental, and social problematics.
