Cílem této práce je zabývat se překladem, komparací a analýzou německých a českých textů horoskopů. Tato práce je rozdělena do tří hlavních kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá důležitými aspekty astrologie, historií astrologie a její popularitou v moderní kultuře. Začátek druhé kapitoly se zabývá pojmem překlad a také etikou překladu obecně.
