The dissertation deals with topic „Gendersplitting“ representing on the example of the austrian national anthem, which was changed in 2012 to be more gender-correctly. The passage „home of great sons“ was changed into „home of great daughters, sons“ so now are both genders included. Diplomová práce pojednává o jazykovém fenoménu „Gendersplitting“ v německém jazyce, na ukázce rakouské hymny. Hymna byla v roce 2012 změněna tak, aby byla gender-korektní. Do pasáže „Domov jsi velkých synů“ vložili slovo dcer, tudíž hymna oslovuje již obě pohlaví. Práce se mimo jiné zabývá otázkou, jestli je možné převést Gendersplitting do českého jazyka.
