Předkládaná diplomová práce zpracovává téma užití slovníků a jazykových korpusů v praxi uživatele anglického jazyka jako cizího jazkya, tj. překladatele, studenta či výzkumného pracovníka. Cílem práce je pomoci zorientovat se v problematice elektronických zdrojů, které v poslední době nahrazují dříve užívané knižní slovníky a jejichž škála na trhu je nepřeberná.
