Abstract:
Práce se zabývá životem a dílem Václava Kosmáka, strukturou jeho spisů a recepcí Kosmákovy tvorby. Důraz je kladen zejména na romány Chrt a Eugenie, které představují vrchol Kosmákovy literární činnosti. Je vyzdvižena jeho významná úloha jako lidového spisovatele, jež může oslovit i současného čtenáře.
Abstract:
The thesis describes life and work of Vaclav Kosmak, his publication structure and reception of his writing. The emphasis is given mainly to the novels Greyhound and Eugenia which represent the top of Kosmak´s literary work. His important role as a folk writer who can influence also nowadays readers is underlined here.
