Euler differential equation and its generalizations

Abstract:

In this thesis we deal with Euler’s differential equation and its generalizations. The Euler differential equation is a typical example of the so-called conditionally oscillatory equation, and therefore plays an important role in the oscillation theory of linear equations. We study conditional oscillation for linear and half-linear equations. The basic model is the linear Euler equation and the Riemann-Weber equation.We study the generalizations of these equations for half-linear equations. We will show method of the modified Riccati equation, that introduced and used in his works prof. RNDr. Ondřej Došlý, DrSc.

Abstract:

V tejto diplomovej práci sa venujeme Eulerovej diferenciálnej rovnici a jej zovšeobecneniam. Eulerova diferenciálna rovnica je typickým príkladom takzvanej podmiene oscilatorickej rovnice, a preto hrá dôležitú úlohu v oscilačnej teórii lineárnych rovníc. Študujeme podmienenú osciláciu pre lineárnu a pololineárne rovnice. Základný model je lineárna Eulerova rovnica a Riemann-Weberova rovnica. V práci študujeme zovšeobecnenia týchto rovníc pre pololineárne rovnice. Ukážeme metódu modifikovanej Riccatiho rovnice, ktorú zaviedol a používal vo svojich prácach prof. RNDr. Ondřej Došlý, DrSc.
