Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to describe the concept of copula and correlation in statistics. The thesis provides theoretical view on these concepts and their relationship for two random variables. We modeled several examples of copulas and using them we generated random variables in program R. Subsequently, we studied the correlation between these random variables. Abstract:
Cieľom tejto práce je priblížiť si pojmy kopula a korelácia v štatistike. Práca poskytuje teoretický náhľad na tieto pojmy a ich vzťahy pre dve náhodné veličiny. Bolo namodelovaných niekoľko príkladov kopúl, pomocou ktorých sme vygenerovali náhodné veličiny v programe R. Následne bola preskúmaná korelácia medzi týmito veličinami. V práci sú uvedené aj grafické zobrazenia namodelovaných kopúl.
