Vienna Actionists - action and reaction

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na nejvýznamnější rakouskou uměleckou skupinu šedesátých let- vídeňské akcionisty. Mezi hlavní představitele patřili Hermann Nitsch, Otto Muehl, Gunter Brus a Rudolf Schwarzkogler. Cílem bádání je zmapování jejich tvorby, která je rozvedena a popsána v jednotlivých kapitolách. Důležitou částí je nastínění politické situace a kontext celosvětového umění v šedesátých letech. Závěrečná kapitola obecně pojednává o reakci na „akce“ vídeňských umělců jak ze strany publika, tak v uměleckých kruzích.

Abstract:

Bachelor's thesis is focused on the most important Austrian art group of the sixties - Vienna Actionists. The most important participants were Hermann Nitsch, Otto Muehl, Gunter Brus and Rudolf Schwarzkogler. The aim of research is the mapping of their works, which is developed and described in individual chapters. An important part of it outlined the political situation and the global context of art in the sixties. The final chapter deals with the general response to the "action" Viennese artists as the audience, and in artistic circles
