A difficult client in a social work with a view to a manipulative client.

Abstract:

Tato práce popisuje problematiku ?obtížného klienta? v sociální práci. Věnuje se sociální práci obecně, její charakteristice, teoriím, metodám a specifikám české sociální práce. Práce studuje pojem ?obtížný klient? a jeho užití v odborné literatuře. Z mnoha typologií ?obtížných klientů? byly vybráni klienti nedobrovolní, závislí, agresivní, depresivní, suicidiální a manipulující, kteří jsou v práci podrobně charakterizování. Jsou popisována specifika komunikace a sociální práce s konkrétním typem klientů. Přitom je kladen důraz na praktické příklady a využitelnost poznatků v praxi. Meritem práce jsou kapitoly věnované manipulaci a manipulujícím klientům. Je zde definována manipulace a její dělení. Pozornost je věnována zejména typologii manipulujících klientů, jejich projevům a práci s manipulujícími klienty. Závěr práce je věnovaný asertivitě a obraně proti manipulaci.

Abstract:

This thesis describes the problem of ?difficult client? in social work. It is devoted to social work in general, its characteristics, theories, methods and the specifics of the czech social work. Work studies the concept of ?difficult client? and its use in scientific literature. From many typologies of ?difficult clients? were selected involuntary clients, clients addicted, aggressive, depressed, suicidal and manipulative, who are closely characterized in thesis. It is described the specifics of communication and social work with a specific client. Emphasis is laid on practical examples and the usability of knowledge. Measure the work are chapters dedicated to manipulation and manipulative clients. It is defined the manipulation and its separation. Attention is paid to the typology of manipulative clients, their manifestations and work with the manipulative clients. The conclusion of this work is devoted to assertiveness and defense against manipulation.
