Finančná analýza je neodmysliteľnou súčasťou finančného riadenia podniku. Pôsobí ako spätná väzba o tom, kam sa podnik v oblasti finančného riadenia dostal, v ktorých oblastiach sa mu podarilo naplniť ciele a naopak, v ktorých oblastiach zaostáva.
