Ulcerative Colitis

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je charakterizovat onemocnění ulcerózní kolitida, které se projevuje zánětem tlustého střeva a konečníku. Toto onemocnění, spolu s Crohnovou chorobou, je kategorizováno jako nespecifický zánět střeva. Práce je rozdělena do samostatných kapitol, od základní anatomie střev až po různé léčebné postupy, které lze u tohoto onemocnění aplikovat. Práce také pojednává o nejnovějších metodách diagnostiky a terapie. Přímá příčina nespecifického zánětu ve střevech je stále předmětem diskusí, protože neexistují dostatečné důkazy, které by podpořily jakoukoli konkrétní teorii.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to characterize the disease ulcerative colitis, which is manifested by inflammation in the large intestine and rectum. This disease, along with Crohn's disease, is categorized as non-specific inflammatory bowel disease. The work is divided into separate chapters, from the basic anatomy of the intestines to various treatment procedures that can be applied to this disease. The work also discusses the latest methods of diagnosis and therapy. The direct cause of nonspecific inflammation in the gut is still a matter of debate, as there is insufficient evidence to support any particular theory.
