Analysis of Accounting and Inventory Records with a Focus on Warehouse Movements

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na účtování a evidenci zásob ve vybraném podniku. Hlavním cílem této práce je analyzovat skladové pohyby, které jsou nastaveny v podnikovém softwaru, a stanovit možnosti jejich optimalizace. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty základní informace o typech zásob, účtování zásob, jejich evidenci, inventarizaci a skladování. V praktické části jsou popsány jednotlivé oblasti zásob v podniku, je provedena analýza opravných položek v podniku a podrobná analýza skladových pohybů. V závěru práce jsou stanovena doporučení vycházející z výsledků analýzy.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis focuses on inventory accounting and inventory records in selected company. The main objective of the thesis is to analyse the warehouse movements that are set in company's software and to determine the options of their optimization. The thesis is divided into two parts. In theoretical part, the essential information about the types of inventories, inventory accounting, inventory records, stock-taking and warehousing is summarized. In practical part, the areas of company's inventories are described, the analysis of company's inventory adjustments and detailed analysis of warehouse movements is done. In conclusion, there are recommendations established from the results of analysis.
