Jacques Maritain as a Follower of the Thomistic Tradition in the 20th Century
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce „Jacques Maritain jako pokračovatel tomistické tradice ve 20. století“ se věnuje názorům Jacquesa Maritaina, francouzského filozofa a předního představitele tomismu ve 20. století. Pojednává o jeho návaznosti na Tomáše Akvinského, zakladatele tomismu. Zaměřuje se na integrální (křesťanský) humanismus Jacquesa Maritaina.
Abstract:
Bachelor thesis „Jacques Maritain as a Follower of the Thomistic Tradition in the 20th Century“ deals with ideas of Jacques Maritain, a French philosopher and leading exponent of Thomism in the 20th Century. Maritain´s Connection to Thomas Aquinas, the founder of Thomism, is evaluated in this thesis. It focuses on the Integral humanism (Christian humanism) by Jacques Maritain.
