Financial analysis of business activities of Jaroslav Šimek in road freight transport

Abstract:

Téma diplomové práce je finanční analýza podnikatelské činnosti Jaroslava Šimka v rámci živnosti silniční motorová doprava nákladní. Cílem této diplomové práce je provést finanční analýzu a jejím prostřednictvím zhodnotit hospodaření zkoumaného podniku, popřípadě navrhnout doporučení ve zjištěných problematických oblastech. První část této práce se soustředí na vymezení pojmu živností a jejich charakteristik. V následující kapitole jsou teoreticky ukotveny základy finanční analýzy a posléze i jednotlivé ukazatele či soustavy ukazatelů. Praktická část se soustředí na podnik a jeho finanční analýzu prostřednictvím elementárních metod finanční analýzy v kombinaci se souhrnnými indexy, které poskytnou komplexnější pohled na hospodaření podniku. V rámci finanční analýzy došlo k identifikaci problémových oblastí podniku, zde se vyskytla problematika snižujícího se čistého pracovního kapitálu a negativní vliv na likviditu, záporné ukazatele rentability a neúměrný růst celkové zadluženosti. V poslední kapitole jsou poskytnuty případné návrhy na postup s řešením finanční situace.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is to analyze business Jaroslav Simek under the trade road freight transport. The aim of this thesis is to perform financial analysis and through the analysis evaluate economic activities or propose recommendations in the identified problem areas. The first part focuses on the definition of the term licensed trades and their characteristics. In the following chapter are theoretically anchored basics of financial analysis and then the individual indicators or set of indicators . The practical part focuses on the business and its financial analysis through elementary methods of financial analysis in combination with aggregate indices, which will provide more comprehensive view of the enterprise. Financial analysis was to identify problem areas of the company, occurred problems were decreasing net working capital and its negative impact on liquidity, negative profitability ratios and disproportionate growth of total debt. In the last chapter, there are provided suggestions on procedure how to solve financial situation.
