V této bakalářské práci se věnuji studiu bakteriofágových enzymů, které štěpí jednu z hlavních komponent buněčné stěny peptidoglykan. Zaměřím se na princip enzymové terapie, možnosti uplatnění fágových proteinů při léčbě bakteriálních onemocnění, dále potom na strukturu a hydrolytickou aktivitu enzymů. Abstract:
In this thesis I deal with the study of bacteriophage enzymes that break down peptidoglycan which is one of the main components of the cell wall. I will focus on the principle of the enzyme therapy and possibilities of using phage proteins in the treatment of bacterial diseases, furthermore for the structure and hydrolytic activity of enzymes.
