Poland as the Czech tourism destination

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vybranými problémy v oblasti cestovního ruchu Polska a jeho návštěvností českými turisty. Cílem práce je porovnat nabídky zájezdů do Polska, které vybrané cestovní kanceláře a cestovní agentury nabízejí, s výsledky sociologického výzkumu, který zjišťuje, co čeští turisté při cestování poptávají. Porovnáním těchto dvou hledisek pak hodnotí, v čem se nabídka a poptávka odlišují a zda to ovlivňuje návštěvnost Polska. Na základě zpracovaného dotazníku se práce dále zabývá celkovou návštěvností Polska a zda v tom hrají roli vybrané faktory. Úvodní část práce je zaměřena na problematiku cestovního ruchu jako takového a definování pojmů. Zabývá se také otázkou ubytovacích a stravovacích zařízení. Dále práce podává stručnou charakteristiku o území Polska a jeho vybraných lokalitách, které jsou přitažlivé pro cestovní ruch.

Abstract:

The bachelor´s thesis is aimed at selected issues in the sphere of Polish tourism. It investigates the fact how frequently is Poland visited by Czech tourists. The main aim of the thesis is comparison of excursion offers to Poland by selected tour operators and travel agencies. The offers are subsequently compared to results of sociological researches trying to find out, what is most often requested by Czech tourist. Comparing these two points of view is later evaluated, what are the basic differences between offers and demands and if this difference has any impact on the visits of Poland. Based on the worked out questionnaire, the thesis is further on concerned with overall visits to Poland and if any selected factors play an important role in that. Introductory section of the thesis is aimed at tourism issues as such and most frequently used terms are defined. Also is concerned with a question of accommodation and eating facilities. The thesis informs in brief about characteristics of a Polish territory. It defines which are the most attractive areas in the field of tourism.
