Abstract:

Disertační práce „Giovanni Paisiello – generálbasový traktát Regole per bene accompagnare a aplikace na jeho cembalové koncerty v kontextu hudby druhé poloviny 18. století“ přibližuje skladatelskou osobnost neapolské operní školy, Giovanni Paisiella (1740 – 1816) jako prominentního pedagoga na petrohradském carském dvoře a skladatele hudby pro klávesové nástroje. První část práce reflektuje stěžejní životopisná data skladatele a jeho působení na ruském carském dvoře Kateřiny II. Veliké v Petrohradu. Předkládá kompletní autograf generálbasového traktátu Regole per bene accompagnare, jeho přepis a moderní sazbu notových příkladů, stejně jako překlad do českého jazyka doplněný o notové příklady z prvního tištěného vydání. Druhý díl disertace předkládá autograf, přepis a moderní kritickou edici jednoho ze dvou cembalových koncertů vzniklých na petrohradském carském dvoře, Koncertu C dur pro cembalo a orchestr. Přibližuje fenomén cembala jako exotického nástroje v Rusku koncem 18. století a kompoziční východiska klávesové tvorby G. Paisiella při jeho pobytu v Petrohradu. Poslední třetí část prezentuje autograf, přepis a moderní kritickou edici druhého cembalového Koncertu F dur, vzniklého pro velkokněžnu Marii Fjodorovnu. Zabývá se interpretačními východisky nabízí interpretovi možné cesty, jimiž se lze se při provozování této hudby ubírat. Disertační práce zpracovává doposud minimálně probádanou problematiku klávesové tvory G. Paisiella vzniklé na petrohradském dvoře a první český překlad autorova generálbasového traktátu odrážejícího umění hry partiment. Dává čtenáři nahlédnout do Paisiellových rukopisů a konfrontuje je s vlastními moderními edicemi.

Abstract:

The dissertation "Giovanni Paisiello - figured bass treatise Regole per bene accompagnare and its application on his harpsichord concerts in the music of the second half of the 18th century" illustrates the composer's personality of the Napoli opera school, Giovanni Paisiello (1740-1816) as a prominent teacher of keyboard instruments at the St. Petersburg tsar court. The first part of the dissertation reflects the main biographical data of the composer and his influence on the Russian imperial court of Catherine II. (Catherine the Great) in St. Petersburg. It presents the complete autograph of the figured bass treatise Regole per bene accompagnare, its transcription and the musical examples in modern notation as well as a Czech translation supplemented with examples of music from the first printed edition. The second part of the dissertation presents the autograph, the transcription, and modern critical edition of one of the two harpsichord concerts written for the St. Petersburg tsar Court, the Concerto in C major for harpsichord and orchestra. It shows the phenomenon of harpsichord as an exotic instrument in Russia at the end of the 18th century and the compositional basis of G. Paisiello's keyboard works during his stay in St. Petersburg. The last part presents the manuscript, transcription, and the modern critical edition of the second harpsichord Concerto in F major, created for the Grand Duchess Maria Feodorovna. It deals with the interpretative basis and offers possible paths to a musician to be used when performing this music. This dissertation discusses the so far minimally studied issue of G. Paisiello's keyboard works created at the St. Petersburg court and provides the first Czech translation of the author's figured bass treatise reflecting the art of partimento interpretation style. It gives readers an insight into the Paisiello's autographs and confronts them with own modern editions.
