Automated external defibrillators in the territory of the capital city of Prague.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá dostupností a využitím automatizovaných externích defibrilátorů na území hlavního města Prahy. Práce je rozložena na dvě části. V první části práce se zaměřuji na problematiku náhlé zástavy oběhu, základní resuscitace a automatické externí defibrilace. V další části práce se soustřeďuji na zmapování institucí, u kterých existuje reálný předpoklad disponování automatizovaným externím defibrilátorem. Patřičné subjekty oslovuji s krátkou dotazníkovou anketou týkající se právě využití AED. Nedílnou součástí mé práce je rovněž ověření informací z dostupného webu ?Národní registr AED?, kde je mým cílem porovnání uvedených informací s reálným stavem. V samotném závěru práce se pokouším o zanesení zjištěných přístrojů do mapy hlavního města Prahy za účelem přehledu pokrytí daného území.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis deals with the availability and utilization of automated external defibrillators within the confines of the city Prague. The papaer is divided into two parts. The first one concentrates on the issue of a sudden circulation arrest, basic resuscitation, and automated external defibrillation. The other one puts focus on mapping institutions feasibly equipped with automated external defibrillators. The respective entities have been addressed with a short survey questionnaire. An iseparable component of this work is also a verification of information publicly accessible from the ?AED? national register where the objective has been to compare the data stated with real conditions. The thesis concludes attempting to enter the devices into the maps of the capital in order to gain an overview of Prague?s coverage.
