Analysis of the evaluation of personal finances in the South Bohemian Region

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat způsoby zhodnocování osobních financí obyvatel Jihočeského. Dílčím cílem práce je zjistit, jaké jsou nejčastěji využívané metody investování a spoření osob v Jihočeském kraji. Pro dosažení stanovených cílů jsou využity metody dotazníkové šetření, komparace, analýza teoretických a praktických přístupů a dat. Závěr práce je takový, že obyvatelé Jihočeského kraje mají spíše konzervativní přístup k financím a investicím a preferují spoření na spořících a podobných účtech. Tento přístup může být způsoben obavami z rizikových investic, nedostatečnými informacemi o této problematice nebo ekonomickými podmínkami na trhu v Jihočeském kraji. Doporučení plynoucí z výsledků práce jsou takové, že by se téma investovaní mělo více zpřístupnit mladší generaci například prostřednictvím sociálních sítí, podcastů nebo větší využívanost investičních portálů společností, které začátek investování dokážou zjednodušit.

Abstract:

The main goal of the work is to analyze the ways of valuing the personal finances of the inhabitants of South Bohemia. The partial goal of the work is to find out what are the most frequently used methods of investing and saving people in the South Bohemian Region. To achieve the set goals, the methods of questionnaire survey, comparison, analysis of theoretical and practical approaches and data are used. The conclusion of the thesis is that the inhabitants of the South Bohemian Region have a rather conservative approach to finances and investments and prefer saving in savings and similar accounts. This approach may be caused by concerns about risky investments, insufficient information on this issue or economic conditions on the market in the South Bohemian Region. The recommendations resulting from the results of the work are that the topic of investing should be made more accessible to the younger generation, for example through social networks, podcasts or greater use of investment portals of companies that can simplify the beginning of investing.
