Production planning in a company of photochemical industry

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá operativním plánováním výroby v podniku fotochemického průmyslu.. V teoretické části popisuje různé přístupy a technologie plánování včetně problémů, které jsou s plánováním výroby spojeny. Pozornost je věnována také specifickým modelům pro optimalizaci výrobního plánování z oblasti kvantitativních metod a operačního výzkumu. Součástí práce je také pojednání o úloze informačních systémů pro plánování výroby. V praktické části je popsána výroba společnosti FOMA BOHEMIA spol. s r. o., je analyzován dosavadní způsob zpracování objednávek, předvídání poptávky a konstrukce operativního plánu výroby podniku. V závěru jsou formulovány některé návrhy na zlepšení systému plánování výroby v podniku.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes the issue of operative production planning in a company that operates in the photochemical industry. The theoretical part describes various approaches and technologies of planning, taking into account also problems that are connected to the production planning itself. Close attention is given also to specific models that are used for the optimalization of production planning in the field of quantitative methods and operational research. The thesis also explores the role of production planning information systems. The practical part describes the manufacturing process in FOMA BOHEMIA Ltd. The actual order processing, the forecasting of demand and the construction of the operative production plan are being analyzed in depth. The final part of the thesis then formulates individual suggestions for possible improvements of the production process in the company.
