Nuclear power engineering – history, present, future. How to communicate for better position of nuclear power engineering?

Abstract:

Práce se v počátku zaměřuje na vysvětlení pojmu a historie jaderné energetiky. Dále popisuje důležité události v éře jaderné energetiky a zvláštní pozornost věnuje havárii jaderné elektrárny Černobyl a jejím důsledkům. Ve své praktické části se zabývá současným stavem komunikace v oblasti jaderné energetiky a stavem propagace tohoto odvětví. Zkoumá stav informovanosti dnešních dětí a mládeže a doporučuje jak by bylo možné tuto situaci zlepšit. V závěru praktické části je krátký souhrn slabých a silných stránek jaderné energetiky, dále několik základních poznatků o bezpečnosti našich jaderných elektráren a o uskladňování vyhořelého paliva.

Abstract:

Work in the beginning focuses on the notion of a history of nuclear energy. It also describes important events in the era of nuclear energy, and particular attention to nuclear power plant Chernobyl accident and its consequences. In its practical part deals with the current state of communication in the field of nuclear energy and promotion of the state of the industry. It describes the current state of awareness of children and young people and recommends how to improve this situation. In conclusion, the practical part is a short summary of weaknesses and strengths of nuclear energy, as well as some basic knowledge about the safety of our nuclear power plants and storage of spent fuel.
