Following Virgin Mary of Maria Skoky in the context of a Czech pilgrimage tradition in the days after the Battle of White Mountain
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na historii barokního poutního místa Skoky u Žlutic a také na zázračná uzdravení, která se na tomto místě udála v první polovině 18. století. Dále se práce zabývá legendou poutního místa či vlivem šlechty a premonstrátského kláštera v Teplé na rozvoj této poutní tradice. Práce také pojednává o obnovení poutního místa v posledních letech.
Abstract:
This Bachelor´s thesis focuses on a history of the pilgrimage site and miraculous healing which were occurred during the first half of 18th century. The thesis contains detail of the on site legend and on part of the thesis discusses the influence of the aristocracy for he pilgrimage tradition. Another part deals with the restoration of this tradition in recent years.
