The crimes of human trafficking and procuration of prostitutes

Abstract:

Předmětem zkoumání bakalářské práce jsou trestné činy obchodování s lidmi a trestné činy kuplířství. Aktuálnost tématu vychází z alarmujících počtů obětí těchto trestných činů podmíněné především poptávkou po sexuálních službách a levné pracovní síle. Cílem bakalářské práce je deskripce současných metod obchodování s lidmi a kuplířství typické především pro Českou republiku, a vyhodnocení, zda je pomoc obětem v České republice dostatečná a nápomocná. Práce se zabývá faktory, které ovlivňují vznik a existenci těchto trestných činů, účelem za jakým je s oběťmi obchodováno a v neposlední řadě také směrem obchodu. Problematika je zpracovávána na základě dostupné literatury, dat, statistik, analýz a také spolupráce s neziskovými nevládními organizacemi.

Abstract:

The subject of research of the thesis are crimes of human trafficking and crimes of procuration of prostitutes. The topicality of this subject results from alarming numbers of victims of these crimes, which are mainly catalysed by demand for sexual services and cheap workforce. The aim of the thesis is to describe current methods of human trafficking and procuration of prostitutes typical especially for the Czech Republic, and to evaluate whether the help to victims is sufficient and assistant. The thesis focuses on factors, which affect the origin of these crimes, the purpose for which the victims are being trafficked, and finally also on the trend of trafficking. The issue is compiled on the basis of available literature, data, statistics, analyses and also cooperation with non-governmental non-profit organizations.
