Určení velikosti glomerulární filtrace je z klinického hlediska velmi důležité, protože její hodnota je ukazatelem funkčnosti ledvin. Glomerulární filtrace se měří přímými metodami a nebo se její velikost odhaduje pomocí výpočtů. Determination the rate of glomerular filtration is clinically important because its value is an indicator of renal function. Glomerular filtration is measured by direct methods or its size is estimated by calculation.
