U Anezskeho klastera - house and a place of pilgrimage in Prague – Old Town, Frantisek

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je návrh poutního domu a poutního místa u Anežského kláštera v Praze Na Františku. Velký důraz je kladen na citlivé zasazení tohoto návrhu do kontextu a panoramatu města. Tento návrh je zpracován formou architektonické studie za použití programů AutoCAD 2010 a SketchUp. Teoretická část především pojednává o historii tohoto místa, problematice poutních míst a poutí. Také v ní přesně formuluji požadavky na ubytovací zařízení a celkový návrh. Praktická část pak zahrnuje již zmíněný návrh areálu poutního domu. Komplex budov uspokojuje základní ubytovací potřeby poutníků, jejich specifické potřeby i potřeby obyvatel města. Areál poutního domu společně s přilehlými veřejnými prostory slouží poutníkům i veřejnosti a stávají se tak místem setkávání při pořádání různých společenských akcí.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is design of the pilgrimage house and the place of pilgrimage at convent of Saint Agnes in Prague area Na Františku. A great emphasis is placed on sensitive insertion of this design in context and panorama of the city. This design is processed by the rendition of my architectural study using software applications AutoCAD 2010 and SketchUp. The theoretical part mainly deals with the history of this place, the issue of places of pilgrimage and pilgrimages. Also, I formulate accurately the requirements for housing facility and the overall design in this bachelor thesis. The practical part is comprised of that already mentioned design of the pilgrimage house area then. The building complex caters to the basic housing needs of pilgrims, their specific needs and the needs of the city inhabitants. The area of the pilgrimage house in conjunction with the contiguous public spaces serve the pilgrims as well as the public, and thus become a meeting place for organization of various social events.
