Anti-Nazi resistance in Wallachia and its impact on the civilians

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem druhé světové války a zejména pak domácím odbojem, který vznikl v oblasti Valašska. V práci je uvedeno, kdo a za jakým účelem operoval na Valašsku a proč si právě vybral toto místo. Je zde také popsáno, jak a čím se podílely odbojové skupiny na protinacistické činnosti a jaké důsledky přineslo jejich konání civilnímu obyvatelstvu, které bylo s těmito skupinami v úzkém kontaktu. Práce také vykresluje osudy těch, kteří byli perzekuováni ze strany nacistů, a klade otázku, zda cena za spolupráci s odbojáři byla odpovídající jejich přínosu. Závěrečná fáze práce má pak praktickou podobu, kde formou dotazníku je zjišťováno jaký přehled mají žáci devátých tříd valašskokloboucké základní školy o válečných osudech, které tento kraj potkaly, ale také o tom, co partyzánská válka je a co obnáší.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis deals with the topic of the World War II, especially with the internal resistance that arose in the region of Moravian Wallachia. The thesis shows who and for what purpose operated in Moravian Wallachia and why they chose this exact area. There is also described how the resistance groups participated in the anti-Nazi movement and what consequences did their actions have for the civil population that was in close contact with these groups. The thesis describes the fate of the people who were persecuted by the Nazis and it deals also with the question whether the price for the collaboration with the resistance groups was corresponding with their contribution. The second, practical part of the thesis contains a questionnaire that tests the awareness of students of the Elementary school of Valašské Klobouky regarding the fate of natives in this region and it also describes what the partisan resistance is and what it involves.
