Tato práce se zabývá tím, jak Donna Tartt vyobrazuje nevinnost a její ztrátu v různorodých životech jejích postav. Práce analyzuje spisovatelčiny procesy psaní, postavy a estetiku, posuzuje témata, jako je odcizení, sounáležitost, náboženské narážky, rodinná traumata a existenční obavy. Abstract:
This thesis explores Donna Tartt’s portrayal of innocence and its loss in her characters’ diverse lives. It analyzes Tartt’s writing processes, characters, and aesthetics, assessing themes such as alienation, togetherness, religious allusions, familial trauma, and existential concerns.
