U loketního kloubu je více než u kloubů jiných nezbytné dodržovat zásady AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft fůr Osteosynthesefragen), tj. anatomickou repozici, stabilní osteosyntézu a zejména časnou rehabilitaci. Ošetření nebo poranění měkkých tkání nezřídka vyžaduje současně fixaci i pohyb v kloubu. At the elbow joint is more than in other joints needs to respect the principles of AO (Arbeitsgemeinschaft fůr Osteosynthesefragen), anatomic reduction, stable fixation and early rehabilitation.
