Linguistic and Non-Linguistic Communication in Advertising
Abstract:
The thesis analyses linguistic and non-linguistic communication in Benetton´s advertising, namely in its institutional campaigns. The distinct and unique form of advertising that Benetton presents has no parallel within the scope of contemporary advertising. The thesis gives account of the traditional patterns of the advertisements under investigation that create a new subgenre of advertising.
