Increasing the competences of people with mental retardation in connection with institutional and home care in Ústí region.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma Zvyšování kompetencí lidí s mentální retardací v souvislosti s ústavní a domácí péčí je rozdělena do dvou základních částí - teoretické a empirické. První kapitola teoretického segmentu se zaměřuje mentální retardací, její etiologií a syndromy s ní spojenými. Sekundárně se práce zabývá prognózou onemocnění, tedy způsoby, jak projevy nemoci zmírnit. Ve třetí kapitole se věnujeme tématu inkluze a integrace klientů s mentální retardací. Ve čtvrté sekci orientujeme text na transformaci ústavů jako celku s konkrétním popisem aktuální situace v daných DOZP. Poslední kapitola se zaměřuje na model podpory v zákonech, konkrétně na zákon o sociálních službách. V empirické části práce využíváme kvalitativní a kvantitativní výzkum. V rámci techniky přímého pozorování klientů s mentální retardací a polostandardizovaného rozho-voru s pracovníky, které realizují své profesní aktivity v domácnostech klientů či v ústavech, s jedním rodičem. Výsledkem této kvalifikační práce je deskripce postojů zaměstnanců sociálních služeb k práci s klienty s mentální retardací, zkušenosti rodiče dítěte s tímto postižením v prostředí domácnosti, vytyčení rozdílů mezi prací s klientem v ústavní péči a v domácím prostředí v Ústí nad Labem a hodnocení kompetencí na základě pozorování klientův ústavní péči do péče domácí.

Abstract:

This Bachelor's Thesis on Increasing the Competence of People with Mental Retardation in Connection with Institutional and Home Care is divided into two basic parts - theoretical and empirical. First chapter of the theoretical segment focuses on mental retardation, its etiology and its syndromes. Secondary, the thesis deals with the prognosis of the disease, ie the ways to alleviate the symptoms of the disease. In the third chapter we deal with the topic of inclusion and integration of clients with mental retardation. In the fourth section we are focusing on the transformation of the institutes as a whole with a concrete description of the current situation in the given DOZP. The last chapter focuses on the support model in the law, specifically to the Act on Social Services. In the empirical part of the thesis we use qualitative and quantitative research. In the direct observation technique of clients with mental retardation and a semi-standardized interview with workers who carry out their professional activities in clients' homes or in institutions, with one parent. The result of this qualification work describes the attitudes of social service staff to work with clients with mental retardation, the parent's experience of the child with this disability in the household environment, the distinction between the work with the client in the institutional care and the home environment in Ústí nad Labem and the evaluation of competencies based on observing clients' institutional care into home care.
