Interest groups in a particular area of national economy

Abstract:

V mé bakalářské práci na téma „Zájmové skupiny ve vybrané oblasti národního hospodářství“ se zabývám ekonomickou teorií zájmových skupin, přičemž středobodem mé pozornosti v teoretické části je souhrn poznatků Mancura Olsona, jednoho z ekonomů řazených ekonomickou teorií do tzv. školy veřejné volby. V praktické části aplikuji teoretické poznatky na zemědělský a potravinářský sektor hospodářství České republiky. Cílem práce je identifikace hlavních aktérů a zájmových skupin tohoto sektoru a analýza jejich činnosti s důrazem na mlékárenství.

Abstract:

In my bachelor thesis called “Interest groups in a specific area of national economy” I concern myself with economic approach to the theory of interest groups. The main scope of the theoretical part of this thesis concerns understandings of this topic in Mancur Olson’s view, whose work is classified by the economic theory as a part of the Public Choice Theory. In practical part I apply theoretical knowledge to agriculture and food industry in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is identification of this sector’s main actors, interest groups and analysis of their activity with emphasis on dairy branch.
