Norský skladatel Edvard Grieg světově proslul drobnými klavírními formami a písněmi, s jeho jménem se však pojí také rozsáhlejší orchestrální díla, ať už je to scénická hudba k Ibsenově dramatu Peer Gynt nebo Klavírní koncert a moll. Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg is well known for his small piano pieces and numerous songs, but it was also his large orchestral works, which made him famous worldwide, in particular the scenic music to Peer Gynt drama by Henrik Ibsen or Piano concerto in A minor.
