Lobby chair

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá návrhem lobby křesla pro společnost Wiesner Hager. Design je založen na jednoduchém tvarosloví a technologii, kterou tato společnost využívá. Jako cílovou skupinu jsem si zvolila muže ve věku od 35 do 60 let. Tato skupina mužů má dle mého názoru své určité požadavky a specifika jak v oblasti tvarování, tak v oblasti materiálu. Většinou se také jedná o muže velmi pracovně vytížené, kteří tráví sezením větší část své pracovní doby. Výsledkem práce je prototyp, který jsem tvořila s ohledem na historické prameny, současné trendy, materiály, ergonomické a antropometrické parametry. Tato související tématika je v práci podrobně rozebrána a rozdělena do několika ucelených částí. Nejdůležitější a zároveň závěrečnou částí jsou fáze tvůrčího procesu a postupu vyráběného prototypu.

Abstract:

This project entails the design of lobby chair for the company Wiesner Hager. The chair´s design is chicly inspired by the company´s use of simplicity and technology. Males between the ages of 35 and 60 were selected as the target group for this project. I Belize that this group has specific Leeds and demands in term sof chair´s form and materials, as most of these men have demanding jobs and work long hours doing sedentary work. The end product of this project is a prototype which I have created, taking into consideration historici sources, current trends, materials, as wel as ergonomic and anthropometric specifications. The project also includes a detailed analysis of the aforementioned aspects which is dividend into several comprehensive sections. The final and most important protion of project outlines the stages of the creative process and the production process of the prototype.
