Position of the tertiary sector in the Spanish economy since the 90th years to the present

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem terciárního sektoru (neboli sektoru služeb) ve španělské ekonomice a jeho vlivem na zaměstnanost, HDP a platební bilanci země. Teoretická část je zaměřena na definování pojmu terciární sektor a vysvětlení příčin jeho růstu. Druhá kapitola obsahuje obecný vývoj španělského terciárního sektoru od 60. let do roku 2009. Zbývající tři části se dále zabývají podrobnějším vývojem třech významných odvětví sektoru služeb pro španělskou ekonomiku - cestovního ruchu, obchodu zbožím a sektoru dopravy - od 90. let 20. století do současnosti (2009).

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on development of tertiary sector (services sector) in Spanish economy and its impact on the employment, GDP and the balance of payments of the country. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition of tertiary sector and explanation of the causes of its growth. The second part describes the general development of the Spanish tertiary sector from 60th until 2009. The remaining three parts deal with the detailed development of the three major sectors of services sector -- tourism, trade in goods and transport -- from the 90th of the 20th century to the present (2009).
