Education of Seniors at the University of the Third Age

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce pojednává o vzdělávání seniorů na univerzitě třetího věku. Konkrétně je zaměřena na seniory ve věkové kategorii 60 let a více, kteří žijí ve městě Rousínov v Jihomoravském kraji. Teoretická část je rozdělena do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá člověkem v postproduktivním věku a změnami, které se dějí ve stáří. Druhá kapitola se věnuje možnostem vzdělávání, motivaci při studiu a také možným bariérám, které mohou při studiu nastat. Třetí kapitola se zabývá historií univerzit třetího věku, samotným vznikem univerzit v České republice a problematikou týkající se on-line výuky. Praktická část začíná kapitolou č. 4, která je zaměřena na metodologii výzkumu, konkrétně vymezení výzkumného problému, výzkumné cíle a otázky, techniku sběru dat a samotnou realizaci dotazníkového šetření. 5. kapitola pojednává o vyhodnocení výsledků výzkumu, vyhodnocení dat a diskuzi. Práce je ukončena závěrem a použitou literaturou.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis discusses the education of seniors at the university of the third age. Specifically, it is aimed at seniors aged 60 and over who live in the town of Rousínov in the South Moravian Region. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with a person in the post-productive age and the changes that occur in old age. The second chapter is devoted to the possibilities of education, motivation during study and also possible barriers that may arise during study. The third chapter deals with the history of universities of the third age, the very creation of universities in the Czech Republic and issues related to online teaching. The practical part begins with chapter No. 4, which is focused on the research methodology, specifically the definition of the research problem, research goals and questions, the data collection technique and the actual implementation of the questionnaire survey. Chapter 5 deals with the evaluation of research results, data evaluation and discussion. The work is finished with a conclusion and the literature used.
