Anotace:

Ve své diplomové práci se zabývám pěti vybranými institucemi ze tří měst ve Velké Británii, a to z Londýna, Edinburghu a Belfastu - The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (Londýn), The Edinburgh Academy (Edinburgh), Stagecoach Performing Arts (Edinburgh), The Belfast School of Performing Arts (Belfast) a Northen Ireland Screen (Belfast). Cílem práce je čtenáře seznámit s podobou a náplní výuky v jednotlivých institucích a s možnostmi, které jsou žákům nabízeny a také to, zda se těmito příklady můžeme v České republice jakožto budoucí pedagogové a tvůrci inspirovat nebo se z jejich nedostatků poučit.

Abstract:

In my thesis I examine five selected institutions from three cities in the UK, namely London, Edinburgh and Belfast - The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (London), The Edinburgh Academy (Edinburgh), Stagecoach Performing Arts (Edinburgh), The Belfast School of Performing Arts (Belfast) and Northen Ireland Screen (Belfast). The aim of the thesis is to introduce the reader to the form and content of teaching in each institution and the opportunities offered to pupils, and whether we can be inspired by or learn from these examples in the Czech Republic as future educators and creators.
